Jamie Starling
I’m a career designer fuelled by curiosity and problem solving. Throughout my professional journey, I’ve worked in a variety of design disciplines including signage manufacturing, promotions, exhibition design, and bespoke residential building design.
Most recently, I held the position of Industrial Designer at DI Sign Group, where I created comprehensive workshop drawings for client approval and in-house manufacturing, ensuring smooth and timely production. Prior to this role, I excelled as a Production Draftsman at acclaimed studios, Thomas Archer and Adam Hobill Design contributing concise siting plans for the critical approval stage of custom home building.
I’m currently looking for new opportunities to join a like-minded and energetic creative team.

I took on the role of CNC operations during a transitional staffing phase, despite a lack of prior experience, and subsequently facilitated the onboarding of a replacement team member.
I throughly enjoyed the interaction with workshop staff, observing and being hands-on with manufacturing operations.
Working closely with the production manager to develop efficient manufacturing solutions for complex and time-sensitive projects, aiming to optimise both time and cost factors.
